Elevar Equity Leads Investment, Boosting Wheelocity's Reach
A significant portion of the raised capital, amounting to ₹54.99 crore, comes from EE-FI (Elevar Equity) AIF. This substantial investment from Elevar Equity, a venture capital firm known for its focus on early-stage businesses, underscores the strategic importance and growth potential attributed to Wheelocity's operations. The participation of both new and existing investors, alongside several angel investors, further solidifies the financial backing for the company's ambitious expansion plans.
Phygital Model Connects Rural Consumers to Fresh Produce and Groceries
Founded in 2021, Wheelocity operates on a unique 'phygital' platform, seamlessly integrating physical infrastructure with digital technologies. This approach enables the company to efficiently deliver fresh produce and everyday groceries to a vast network of semi-urban and rural communities. By bridging the gap between urban supply chains and rural demand, Wheelocity aims to create a more robust and accessible marketplace for millions of consumers.
